| Beach House Restaurant
and Water Sports
The Beach House Restaurant is a little slice of heaven, set in one of the best
locations on the coast. Take the Elvira turn off from the N340, and following
the Beach House signs it is just a few minutes drive. You can use the car park
at the rear of the building, and walk a few yards to the front, where you will
find an oasis of calm and tranquillity.
The restaurant nestles at the edge
of what appears to be a private beach, although in reality it stretches as far
as Cabopino to the east, and all the way round to Marbella to the west. Catering
for the discerning traveller, the menu combines international flavours with an
unusual twist; from salmon fishcake with a creamy dill sauce to goats cheese and
tapenade filo parcel. The prices reflect the beauty of the location as well as
the high quality cuisine; but whatever your budget, a visit to the Beach House
is a must. If sun and relaxation appeals, sun-beds with mattresses are available
in front of the restaurant where you can recline all day for a few euros. If you
are feeling a little more lively, choose the watersports centre situated to the
side of the restaurant. You can choose from water-skiing or wake-boarding (similar
to snow-boarding but on waves!), take out a pedalo or a kayak, or re-live your
childhood on a banana ride (maximum ten people) or ringo - a doughnut-shaped alternative.
All staff are fully qualified so can teach you any of the above, or merely
help you with the equipment. Although jet-skis are not provided, storage can be
arranged if you have one yourself, and you can also be taught how to ride it and
provided with the necessary licence. Watersports Centre:
